This was the actual colour of the sea when we went west to get away from the crowds. COVID meant this summer a lot of our fellow Brits joined us in Cornwall but it got hectic.

Luckily, we know how to escape. We parked at Porthgwarra, took a couple of 70L rucksacks, filled then with wetsuits, lunch and snorkles and headed to Nanjizal. It was serenely tropical and quiet, a memory to hold on to forever, especially after a challenging 2020.
